WOYWW~ Mad House and Chaos Over Takes My Muse.

First off, Happy Wednesday!

I'm so thrilled to have you stop by and gander for a bit. I hope that you all have had a wonderful Wednesday and that your rest of the week will be Fantastic and Awesome .

Yes, You did correctly see my title for today's post. Have you ever had one of those days or one of those weeks? Well, my Muse has become so over loaded, I had to take a break from the Art Studio. So, I jumped up on my bed to meditate along with reading a few Articles and a few books (three to be exact). I was actually out of my shell. Uncomfortable that I was NOT doing a thing. No drawing or doodling. No cleaning of the house. I fell into a trance and blocked the world around "My Personal Space". No answering of the telephones. Turned on the class movie chanel and dug right in to the books I had grabbed off my shelf.

These are the four books I decided to really read, instead of skimming through them to pages that inspired me.

Layered, Tattered and Stitched: A Fabric Art Workshop1.Layered, tattered & Stitched by Ruth Rae.
Here is the link to the book through Amazon.

Creative Awakenings: Envisioning the Life of Your Dreams Through Art

2. Creative Awakenings~ Envision the life of your dreams through art.
Again, here is the link to the book through Amazon.

3. Altered Books 101 by Beth Cote and Cindy Pestka.
I provide the link to this book here:
Altered Books 101 ##5167

I have the following Books on my night stand to possibly start reading them tonight, or definately tomorrow. They are part of the series that Beth Cote has published.
a. Altered Books 102~ Beyond the Basics
b.Altered Books 103~ Little Books. Decos. CDs & More!
c.Altered Books 104~ Everything!

Beth has a few more books in which I would love to borrow or buy. Sometimes you can find these books available for check-out at your local library, Mine did not.

Below are some 4x6 postcards that I completed this week and an altered key wall hanger for a PIF Thread Swap over at

I hope you all have a fabulous Day and a Marvelous Week. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my where do I start?

And good for you knowing when to take a break and take time to refresh. You sure did a lot of reading! And if you read those next 3 books on your night stand, I think you will know everything there is to know about altered books!

I think it's terrific you took some time to read about art! I actually took some time off because I was out of town and like so many other times, I find it hard to get back to my daily drawing! I think I'm ok now, though.

Beautiful postcards! So fun and pretty. Insanely hard to pick faves but probably all that love in the clouds, and the heart balloon, and the mysterious elf with the green hair. :)
